Turns out that being able to get into the feed from a Kinect does not magically make an application appear.

The idea eventually settled upon was one where it was felt to be quick-to-grasp. Put a sparkler in someone’s hand at Bonfire Night, and they’ll start tracing out shapes. Put this application in front of people and – after a little guidance – they can trace out letterforms that are then compiled into a virtual typesetter’s tray.
